Looks like Disney is banking of the Zindagi Gulzar Hai actor’s popularity for the film’s success
From running the hashtag #FawadFever on Twitter to releasing videos about Fawad Khan playing the role of Prince Vikram Singh Rathod in Khoobsurat, the makers of the Sonam Kapoor starrer seem to be banking way too much on the Pakistani actor’s popularity with the female fans.
Touted to be one of the most romantic fairy-tales with a royal twist, Khoobsurat is a reboot of the Rekha-Rakesh Roshan starrer from the 80s. It will mark the debut of Pakistan’s highest paid actor Fawad, in Bollywood who already has the ladies drooling all over his sexy and suave personality. Compared to Sonam Kapoor’s past record, the makers of Khoobsurat seem to have more faith in Fawad’s charisma to make the film work.
Tabhi toh, more of Prince Viku and less of Dr. Mili is being promoted among audiences to ensure that Fawad’s female fan following, all over the world, watches the film for him. The actor made way into the hearts of many with his portrayal of Zaroon Junaid in Zindagi channel’s popular show Zindagi Gulzar Hai.
