The B-town beauty has reportedly walked out of her comeback film which was to be directed by Ram Madhvani. But why? Read on to know full scoop…
We’ll have to wait a little longer before we see Kajol on the big screen. We say so coz the talented actress is no longer doing Ram Madhvani’s next directorial venture which was going to mark her return on the silver screen. We hear the Fanaa starlet isn’t doing the film due to financial differences with the makers. An industry insider told a leading daily, ”The deal has fallen through because of some financial differences, despite the film being co-produced by her husband Ajay Devgn.” In fact, the untitled film was to go on floors in October this year. But with Kajol ditching the project, Ram Madhvani is now busy hunting a new leading lady for his film.
Interestingly, a lot of actors are keen to star in Madhvani’s next and they have even approached the filmmaker. However, Ram is yet to take a call on the casting of his film. The film in question is an adaptation of Norwegian television thriller Penoza.
Well, it’s sad that things didn’t work out for Kajol but we are pretty sure she will soon sign another film.
