After the leaked teaser saga, the makers have finally unveiled the first look of Shankar’s magnum opus
There has been a lot of rumours surrounding the plot of director Shankar’s upcoming sci-fi flick I. The film starring Chiyaan Vikram, Amy Jackson and Upen Patel in lead roles has already caught audience’s fancy thanks to leaked teaser and praises showered by Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger on the quality of visual effects. Also, Mr Schwarzenegger is touted to grace the music launch of I on September 15.
While the makers are pulling every trick in the book to sustain the hype around the film, the motion poster of I has been released revealing the first look of Chiyaan Vikram in the film. Here are the key highlights from the motion poster:
We get a glimpse of Vikram‘s beefed up physique sporting a unique looking locket. One has to say that the actor has done a lot of hard work in toning his body for the high octane action sequences.
The motion poster also reveals the alter ego of Vikram as part of his face and body looks burnt and scaly, giving him resemblance with The Thing from The Fantastic Four. While it was rumoured that Thandavam actor would be playing a werewolf in the film, the first look showcases otherwise.
There is also a bit of word play with the alphabet I, as the film’s title has been changed from Ai to I. AR Rahman’s background score adds a tense, mystic flavour to the motion poster. We can’t wait for the music release.
