Siddharth Anand’s Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, which is the official remake of Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise starrer Knight and Day has finally hit the theatres today. And although Hrithik and Siddharth have said that it’s not the exact replica of Tom and Cameron’s film, but after watching the film, we can tell you that there are certain scenes and aspects in Bang Bang, which will surely remind you Knight And Day. # The film Knight and Day revolves around Roy Miller (Tom Cruise), a CIA agent wrongly thought of as the one who’s gone rogue. In Bang Bang, Hrithik Roshan, who initially calls himself an international criminal is actually an ISS (Indian Secret Service) agent.
# In Bang Bang, there are a few scenes that are exact replicas of scenes in Knight and Day. For example, the scene where Kaif shoots people while Roshan drives the bike is a straight lift from the English film.
# Knight And Day is all about the Zephyr – a battery that never dies and can power entire cities – and how Cruise saves it from falling into wrong hands. In the Hindi remake, Bang Bang, the Kohinoor is what Hrithik is after. Not much of a similarity there, but the fact that there’s one object that many people are lusting after.
# The time when Cruise and Diaz are on the former’s ‘safe place’, an island that is off the grid, again, seems to have been replicated in Bang Bang. There’s a scene when Hrithik and Katrina try to save themselves from being bombed, which looks like an exact replica of the original.
# Hrithik Roshan falling on a car windshield which is driven by Katrina Kaif is also a rip off from Knight and Day, where Tom Cruise does the same stunt.
