A new day with exciting challenges kept the housemates from squabbling with each other tonight
It’s day 33 in the Bigg Boss 8 house and everyone was looking forward to the new captaincy announcement.
The voting system
After the mithai contest Diandra’s team won it and their team got the chance at captaincy. The winning team opted to elect Sushant Divgikar as their captain, to which Diandra had a huge objection. The second candidate was Upen Patel. Everyone unanimously voted for Upen and Sushant leaving Diandra very miffed.
The twist
Bigg Boss announced that the captain of the house will be selected by a special task. And the inmates nominated – Sushant and Upen will compete for it. Then he added another twist stating that the previous captain Ali Quli Mirza will select his challenger from the nominees and they both would compete.
The Task
Ali wisely chose Sushant, but never in his wildest dream did he imagine Mr Divgikar to put up such a fight. The task was to pick out flags while standing on a thin rope. Well Ali barely managed to win and was announced captain again, much to everyone’s disappointment.
Love Birds
Sonali Raut in order to avoid detection wrote and told Gautam Gulati that she wanted to be with him. Instead of being gracious and jumping at the opportunity, Gautam said he needed to time to think over it. RJ Pritam and Puneet Issar joined the love birds and tried to explain to them that if their feelings are genuine they should definitely go for it.
It’s not her it’s me
Pritam decided to play cupid and tell Gautam that Sonali is a nice girl and he should consider dating her. Gautam responds that while Sonali is nice, she’s not the one for her. And the reason he is not responding to her advances is ‘coz he doesn’t want her to get attacked- what a load of crap!
Ali’s advice to Sonali
Ali tells Sonali that several episodes of Bigg Boss showcased her smoking. He also advices her not to sleep in the same bed as Gautam when there are two vacant beds available. Why you wonder? Well it’s not the culture of Indian people to sleep in the same bed as their male friends. OMG!
Verdict
The men in the house really surprise us with their thinking and behaviour. Are they for real?
