Another day in the Bigg Boss 8 house came to an end with the usual set of task, drama and gossip. Here’s taking a look at what happened through all of these…
The Task:
Today the housemates were supposed to run sweet shops for which they were divided into two teams- Team A (Diandra Soares, Puneet Issar, Minissha Lamba, Sushant Divgikar, Soni Singh and Upen Patel) and Team B (Gautam Gulati, Karishma Tanna, Praneet Bhatt, Pritam, Arya Babbar and Sonali Raut). Diandra and Gautam captained their respective teams and Ali Quli judged their performance. The task was to prepare perfect desserts in the least possible time. As per the rules, four members of each team were to manage the kitchen department while two were supposed to disrupt the other team’s proceedings.
The Drama:
The yelling start right from the moment the ingredients were sent in. Members of each team were, picking, pulling, passing all the ingredients in fear of missing something. But Puneet took it to a whole new level by not letting the other team mates get their hands on anything at all. In the process he injured his finger and also hurt Karishma. Eventually they agreed on picking one portion each. But this was just the beginning…
After the Jalebi round (won by Diandra’s tea) and the Kaju Katli round (won by Gautam’s team) the teams were given random ingredients to prepare any two desserts. Of course the previous truce did not apply to this since the teams hadn’t yet decided what they’d make. Gautam’s team sure saw a tough time since they could not manage to get any sugar. Dessert without sugar, Opps! To help his team, Arya stole sugar from the kitchen and was caught by Ali who initially decided to disqualify Gautam’s team. And our angry ol’ man, Mr Issar, jumped right in, yet again. This time repeatedly yelling ‘Arya chor hai’ and demanding Team B’s disqualification. Talk about being filmy!
The Winner:
Though Ali did not disqualify Team B, they stood no chance with their limited stolen sugar, half of which they anyways had to surrender after being caught. So Diandra Sweets shone in the glory of their victory of the luxury task.
The Gossip:
Almost all the gossip was targeted towards Puneet today and given his aggressive behavior, can’t say we blame anybody. The most interesting bit of gossip, however, came from Sonali- the newest house mate to be showered with Gautam’s warmth. Sonali cribbed about the unwanted affection and called Gautam a rowdy. Now hold on, Sonali weren’t you enjoying sharing the blanket with him a few hours ago? And hinting at having developed feelings for him?
We don’t know what is this supposed to mean!
