The Happy New Year director in an honest conversation on Cyrus Sahukar’s On The Bench
Farah Khan is known to be the funny one among her friends. She was at her candid best on Cyrus Sahukar’s show On The Bench, which will be aired on YouTube today. The choreographer-turned-director talks about her friends, films and family on the show. Here are some quirky tales and honest opinions that she shared on the show:
If you look deep inside, there is a conman in each and every person. For example, my brother Sajid. At the age of 6, I realised he is a deviant. We took him to jail also once because he stole a camera.
My lisp was 30 years ago. I don’t lisp anymore. I went for speech classes. Nobody has said I have a lisp since Dinesh Thakur threw me out of his play 25 years ago.
I used to dance outside Amitabh Bachchan’s house. I even used to dance around the lamp post at a signal. My kaamwaali bai and driver were my backup dancers. I thought someone will notice me, but I never realised that he has left Prateeksha and shifted to Jalsa. I was dancing outside an empty house. (She later confesses that she was lying).
