Apnatvzone has come up with these lessons for Ajay Devgn after watching Action Jackson
Ajay Devgn’s recently released film, Action Jackson has tasted major wrath from movie-goers. Though the promos of this Prabhu Dheva directorial created lot of buzz among the masses, the movie has terribly failed to meet the expectations. And here are some lessons that Ajay needs to learn from AJ’s debacle:
Bring real to reel - Ajay stunned everyone with his portrayal of Bhagat Singh in Rajkumar Santoshi’s The Legend Of Bhagat Singh (2002). So why not do that kind of a role again? Biopics are the hottest thing that most actors in the tinsel town prefer. Ajay’s contemporaries Farhan Akhtar (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag) and Priyanka Chopra (Mary Kom) will surely second that.
Comical experiment - He has played an action hero, a brooding lover boy and he has done very similar looking comedy films (Golmaal, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, All The Best, Rascals and Bol Bachchan). And that’s where the problem lies. We like Kajol’s hubby doing comical roles, but not the repetitive ones. A little experiment doesn’t hurt. How about a romantic comedy?
Focus on narration - There are many aspects involved in the process of making films and undoubtedly the script is the major one. And after watching Action Jackson, we just felt that Ajay was yawning throughout the narration with Prabhu Dheva. We wonder why Devgn agreed to do this below average film.
Young blood - Like Shah Rukh Khan moved away from Karan Johar and did a film with Rohit Shetty, similarly, Ajay needs to ditch the usual filmmakers. There are quite a few young directors, who are impressing with their sense of filmmaking. Maybe Ajay can experiment and work with the filmmakers from the younger lot.
Multitasking - Aamir Khan did it with Lagaan and Taare Zameen Par, Shah Rukh Khan does it with every film of his. And it works for them. We are talking about actors producing and acting in a movie at the same time. By doing that, there is more heart involved and also there is a lot of responsibility.
So if Ajay is reading this, he knows what to do next. We hope he takes the cue and we see him doing something really different next time.
