Reason 1: Promotions of PK
#Bhojpuri blood: Aamir has been posting tweets in Bhojpuri on Twitter, in turn reinforcing the fact that he plays a character belonging to the ethnicity in his film PK. Along with this, the actor recently announced that he will be starting the film’s campaign in Bihar and was also seen interacting with the locals of the state during a recent visit.
#Modi-fication: Aamir grabbed the public’s attention when he announced that he is trying to get Prime Minister Narendra Modi to watch his film. Now we don’t know whether that will pan out, but it got people talking. Bullet fired, motive achieved!
#To Khan, from Khan: Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s recent patch up seems to have mended things between Aamir and SRK as well. The actor was in the spotlight, when he declared that he would wish to host a special screening for Salman and Shah Rukh. Khan love or a promotional ploy?

Salman was seen promoting Aamir’s Dhoom 3 on Bigg Boss last year by sporting the fedora hat, worn by the actor in the film. We hear the Kick fame is all set to wear the famous transistor from PK, this season!

The clue to his whereabouts was given to the media by none other than legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar. Aamir was later spotted in Varansai, meeting the locales disguised as an elderly man. The actor travelled across Gujarat, Madhya Prdesh, Kolkata etc. to promote 3 Idiots.
Reason 4: Promotions of Ghajini
#Actor tuned barber: Aamir’s bald hairdo became an instant hit with the masses, along with his 6 pack abs and tattoos off course. The actor in order to promote his film, turned barber where he personally gave the stylized haircut to locals on the street!
