Ranveer who plays his first historical character of Bajirao in the film is going all out to ensure absolute authenticity. To an extent that he insists on getting his head shaved every single morning, although this is not required.
Ranveer is also required to wear lenses all the time. And though the Gunday actor’s eyes smart under the lenses, he insists on wearing them throughout the day while shooting.
Plus, he has been given lengthy dialogues which are to be delivered in a specific accent thus adding to his troubles. “It is Ranveer who comes close to fainting on the sets. He is the one with lengthy fiery dialogues which have to be delivered in a specific Marathi accent. Ranveer has mastered that dialect and accent and he uses them on the sets even when he isn’t facing the camera,” a source from the film’s unit was quoted by a portal.
Well, looks like Ranveer is indeed working very hard for this film, which also stars his alleged ladylove Deepika Padukone. We hope all this hard work pays off.
