Pooja Bhatt parts ways with her husband Munish Makhija after 11 years of marriage!

The couple have decided to call it quits

Alia Bhatt’s sister Pooja Bhatt recently took to Twitter to announce that she is separating from her husband Munish Makhija. In her tweet Pooja says, “To all those who care & especially those that don’t my husband Munna & Me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage.”

Pooja and Munish came close to each other on the sets of the former’s directorial debut Paap in 2004. Munish is a VJ and a Mumbai-based restaurant owner. He gained popularity with Channel V’s The Udham Singh Show. Later he also featured on UTV Bindass’ Cash Cab – Meter Chalu Hai.

In a series of tweets about her separation from her husband Pooja revealed, “Our split as some might call it is amicable & we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever.”

Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter went on to explain why she decided to make the announcement on a micro-blogging website. She tweeted, “The reason I explain Is because we are both part of the public domain. Our friends,well wishers & foes are free to now speculate. :) ”

We hope that the separated couple find peace and strength to cope with the tough times.
